Purpose of Physio Dx
Physio Dx is physio-diagnosis-aiding software designed to help Australian physiotherapists improve diagnostic accuracy. It supports clinical reasoning but does not replace professional judgment, clinical assessment, or independent decision-making.
Professional responsibility
Users must use their own professional knowledge and judgment when interpreting information produced by Physio Dx. If you are not a physiotherapist, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified health professional before relying on information from the system.
No medical advice
Physio Dx does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. Any outputs are informational only and must be checked against the patient presentation, clinical findings, and relevant professional standards.
No responsibility for clinical decisions
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not accept responsibility for clinical decisions, patient outcomes, loss, damage, or harm arising from use of Physio Dx. You remain responsible for assessing patients and deciding whether any diagnosis, treatment, referral, or other action is appropriate.
Patient information
The service may record patient details, injury history, assessment information, clinical notes, and treatment details. You are responsible for ensuring you have authority to enter this information and that your use of the service complies with applicable privacy, health records, professional, and workplace obligations.
Appropriate use
You must not misuse the service, enter information you are not authorised to use, or rely on the service where urgent, specialist, or emergency care may be required.
